Four of its own 6.5 oz Frasier Fir product pages were opened on 10 August 2026 — Frosted Plaid, Flocked, Gilded Gold and Statement — and none contained an hours figure anywhere in the page; the only "burn time" strings were labels on a customer review widget. The 45-hour figure widely attributed to this candle traces, as far as could be verified, to Nordstrom rather than to the maker. Thymes also sells no product called simply "Frasier Fir poured candle": the 6.5 oz exists only as annually changing designs, so a retailer listing under the generic name cannot be pinned to a specific one.

Twenty hours — a third of the candle's stated working life — separate Nordstrom from two other retailers, and there is no maker figure to settle it. Le Labo publishes no burn time for this candle: its product page was opened three ways on 10 August 2026, returning an identical 459,099-byte document each time with the full product description present, and it contains no burn duration anywhere. Every mention of hours in it belongs to store-opening times or page code. So the widely repeated "60 hours for Santal 26" is a retailer's number, not the maker's, and this is a disagreement between shops rather than between a shop and Le Labo. Le Labo does publish a figure for its 1.2 kg concrete candle, approximately 82 hours, which makes the silence on the 8.6 oz glass candle look deliberate rather than accidental. Five further retailers that would have widened the sample returned 403 or timed out.

The other rungs on that same page read "Burn Time: 21 oz (Deluxe), 90 hours" and "Burn Time: 74 oz (Luxury), 230 hours", and neither describes this candle; a summary quoting 230 hours for Pomegranate Noir without naming a size is quoting the 2.1 kg. Jo Malone's own page was not usable as a source, its terms forbidding "automated or non-automated" gathering alike, so no maker figure accompanies this. The 45 matches what Nordstrom states for the two other Jo Malone 200 g candles recorded above.

Stated flat, with no "up to" or "over" qualifier. The page showed the product out of stock while still publishing the figure.
