We don't ship anything yet
Ember & Main is a comparison site. We do not sell candles, so we do not ship them either — and we would rather say that plainly than publish a policy for a shop that does not exist.
Every buy link on this site goes to the brand’s own shop or to a retailer that stocks the candle. They handle the sale, the shipping and the returns, and their terms are the ones that apply to your order. Check them before you buy, because they differ a great deal: some brands ship free over a threshold, some never do, and candles are heavy enough that postage can change which option is actually cheapest.
That last point is worth more than it sounds. Our cost-per-hour calculator compares candles on price and burn time. It does not know what a given shop will charge you to deliver, and a $6 postage difference on a $25 candle moves the answer.
We earn a commission on some of those links, at no cost to you. Where that is the case the link says so on the page it appears on.
When we do sell our own
Own-label candles are planned, not launched. When there is something to buy, the terms will be published here in full and in advance — real rates from a real fulfilment partner, not the placeholder figures this page used to carry. Until then there is no policy to state, and stating one anyway would be a promise we could not keep.
