How close each one gets
Love Potion
Brooklyn Candle StudioMandarin, lavender and jasmine. Florals over citrus in the same shape, with lavender where the original has osmanthus.
Sunday Morning
Brooklyn Candle StudioPear and bergamot over jasmine and gardenia on amber woods. Fruit, florals and a warm base, which is the Pink Sands structure.
Sweet Grapefruit
P.F. Candle CoPeach and pink grapefruit over mandarin, on musk and vanilla. The fruit half with a vanilla base, and none of the spice.
What people ask about this scent
- Are those the maker's note tiers?
- No. The maker publishes these notes as a flat list without a top, middle and base. The grouping shown here is ours, arranged to make the accord readable, and it should not be read as the maker's own structure.
- Is Pink Sands a tropical scent?
- Only at the top. The melon and citrus read tropical, but the osmanthus and spiced vanilla underneath are closer to a floral oriental, which is why it works indoors year round.
