- On its own it can feel light unless it is genuinely a luxury object. As part of a larger gift, or chosen as something they would never buy themselves, it works well.

- Judged on hours of use, prestige candles are usually poor value, because they tend to be small. Judged as an object and an occasion, that is a different question, and the honest answer is that you are buying the vessel and the name as much as the wax.
